Do you travel outside of the Twin Cities?
Yes, Ruth and her message travel well. Unless otherwise negotiated, travel expenses, outside the 7 county metro area of MN, will be paid by the party requesting the speech. If air travel is necessary, that would also be included, as well as per diem expenses for food and lodging in a hotel.
How much do you charge?
100% of Ruth’s Speaking Fees and Honorariums are donated directly to the Hourglass Fund, to support integrated cancer care and research. All fees are customized to the client’s scope of work, but generally fall into the following client categories:
- Corporate/National Organizations: $5000 base, plus expenses
- Small Business & Not For Profit: $1000 base, plus expenses
- Scholarship Funded Engagements: Limited number available annually, based on need and Ruth's availability
What is the protocol for booking a speaking engagement?
Please contact Ruth by email with information including date, location and purpose. After that initial contact, terms will be negotiated and Ruth will respond with a Speaking Request Form to be filled out and returned to her. Upon receipt, you will receive confirmation of the booking by email.
